Same here. As they rightfully ranked it, Super Castlevania IV was, and still is the next best Castlevania game after Symphony of the game. It was the second AAA title on the SNES after Super Mario World, and its musical themes, beautifully rendred by the SNES's Sony-developped sound chip, clearly played a key role in that.
"Poor exclkusive launch titles"?
Even if I just count Resistance: Fall of Man, Motorstorm, F1 2006 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, this launch lineup was better than the ones on PS2, PS4, XBOX360, XBOX One, and a few other systems. Heck Resistance: Fall of Man & Motorstorm alone made it one of the very best, one that kept you entertained till the next slew of great exclusives like Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction or Uncharted Drake's Fortune.
Given the context this one is the most appropriate I think:

Seriously Nintendo... at that point even taking advice on how to build a real 21st century gaming system from Sega, or Microsoft, or heck, even Atari or Panasonic would be a quantum leap forward.
"PS4 Pro's Boost mode is good - but it should have been there from the start"
LOL, It came out barely 3 months ago, this is what I call "the start"
On a side note, is it just here in Europe that the PS4 Pro costs so much? It's now almost impossible to get it for less than 500€ min., and it even sells at over 1000€!!!
Sweet jeebus, am I glad I got mine at the normal price of 400€ 1 month before Christmas! A japanese fri...
It's really amazing that a console that costs a third to a fourth of the price of a 4K-capable PC manages to come this close to it. Incredible.
IF it actually ever comes out, that is, I find this complete lack of information about the progress in developping that game very worrying...
If I could tag your comment like we once could on N4G it would prob. be "helpful", or "interesting" :)
Now, I don't expect you to be able to provide an answer to this, but i'll ask anyway: some punk who came into my house stole my USB receiver for the arcade stick that was offered in the CE of Tekken 6 a few years back, so I haven't been able to use it anymore, and that kills me because I loved playing my arcade games on my PS3 with it, and even more m...
Resident Evil 7 definitely is an unexpected revival for a series a lot of us considered dead. It borrows heavily from TCM and Evil Dead, but it's even more corny sometimes, like when the son has his arm cut off during the meal by his dad, and doesn't even make a fuss and leaves the room, WTF! Well, I've seen it in playthroughs on youtube, and strangely in one instance he lost his forearm, and in another one he just bleeds but keeps his arm, I don't know what's going on wit...
Great option, but since the firmware isn't coming out right now, can't they also add support for 4K vids from an HDD in the meantime?
I'm also a little concerned this could melt my PS4 Pro's" internal organs" if used too intensively, so I prob won't be using it too much.
Am I the only one who's under the impression that Bandai is the one that gained the most from the merger with Namco? The piece of cr*p toys they used to make prior to that during the 80s and 90s, damn they can consider themselves lucky to be now associated with the maker of the Soul Calibur series.
Here is for the memory: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
Nice to see that Alien Isolation is improved in Boost mode, but that just solves the framerate drops, and I wish the extended power of the PS4 Pro would be used to clean up the jaggies in that game. I don't know if this is technically feasible though.
Framerate drops or screen tearing don't bother me much, jagged lines do.
hey, you can't take that line, "The future is now" is an SNK slogan!

I want that tee btw!
Feeding that to Google brought a wikipedia article about that "gamergate", but no mention of the guy who was previously in charge of review of PS3 games at IGN.
So you necessarily have to format your HDD before it can be used as extended storage? I'm not sure what that's for, maybe to turn it into ExFat, but mine stays in Fat32, as I have over 1,5 TB-worth of movies, tv series, music, photos, porn and stuff. It would kill me to lose all that.
Where is support for the HEVC codec, aka H265, aka 3840x2160, aka 4K videos from an external hard drive?! That's what I want!
WTF? Greg Miller from IGN? That Greg Miller? Why does he get to accompany H. Kojima at that event in Sydney?
And to think Infamous Second Son wows me every time I play it on my Pro, with its 1080p 60fps graphics... Can't wait for Horizon ZD, Detroit BH, Spiderman, Days Gone, FFVII Remake and all the others. The PS4 Pro should have legs and last longer than the norma PS4, too.
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how it's possible to adapt a game like Gran Turismo to the big screen without making just another Fast & Furious, but a Tetris movie adaptation? WTF? How is it possible to make somthing like that? Are movie-goers just going to stare at blocks falling during 1 and a half hour??? Geez...
I'd say the second movie directed by Alexander Witt was the one that sucked the less, personally. It at least tried to resemble the game (RE3) to a certain extent.
Ow, no love for The Witcher 3 GOTY?
